Utility & Van Hire

Insurance - All our hire cars are insured. The hirer is given the benefit of this coverage subject to the conditions of hire. There is a collision damage liability of $2500 for persons 25 years or older, persons 21 years to 24 years of age liability of $3000 in the case of an accident with another vehicle or property damage. This may be reduced to $1000 by paying an extra $12.50 per day for persons 25 years or older, for persons 21 years to 24 years of age liability of $1500. This Wavier fee is optional. Hirers are reminded that overhead, interior, under body, reversing, windscreen & tyre damage howsoever caused is always at the hirer’s risk. There is no cover unless our hire car is driven on sealed maintained roads.

Truck Hire

Insurance - All our hire cars are insured. The hirer is given the benefit of this coverage subject to the conditions of hire. There is a collision damage liability of $2750 for persons 25 years or older, persons 21 years to 24 years of age liability of $3500 in the case of an accident with another vehicle or property damage. This may be reduced to $1000 by paying an extra $25.00 per day for persons 25 years or older, for persons 21 years to 24 years of age liability of $1500. This Wavier fee is optional. Hirers are reminded that overhead, interior, under body, reversing, windscreen & tyre damage howsoever caused is always at the hirer’s risk. There is no cover unless our hire car is driven on sealed maintained roads.

Damage to equipment - Damage to Trolley, Blankets and Rope is at hires risk

Kilometers – As stated in Ute, Van and Truck Info.

Additional Drivers- A maximum of 2 drivers allowed per contract.

Rental Periods - Rental periods are set out as listed.

Fuel - Your vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel. We ask you to refill the tank on return; otherwise fuel can be replaced at hire location.

Damage Report – Hirer is to check condition of vehicle for damage when leaving premises. Hirer is to report any damage on return, if no attempt is made hirer is liable for damage to hired vehicle and other vehicles involved.

Requirements
 
Driver's licences - Full current Australian or international* licences are accepted. Drivers are to be a minimum age of 21 years old; having had at least 3 years licensed driving experience.

* International Licences must be accompanied by proof of Australian residency eg. Utility Bill, Bank Statement, Rental Agreement, Passport ect.
 
Payment & Security Deposit - At time of rental please have your current licence and credit card with you. We require the cost of rental plus a $500 security Deposit. The hirer's credit card must authorise for this amount. The security bond is held as a security through the rental period and returned in full if no further charges apply. We accept Visa, Bankcard, MasterCard, American Express & Diners. Note American Express & Diners incur surcharges of 5% per transaction.
